by the Diana Ross Fan Club
Recently, on February 17, the Diana Ross Fan Club celebrated its 6th anniversary. Since 2014, this site has aimed keeping the legacy of the legendary Diana Ross alive by sharing classic songs, unreleased recordings, memorable photographs, interviews and other things. When I created the fan club, I didn't know that it was going to get this far. I'm proud of the work I did to share my admiration for Ms.Ross and it was a pleasure for me to share it with each of you. Fans from all over the word visit our site day after day to keep up to date and that's an amazing thing. It doesn't matter our nationality or our language because we all share the same passion and admiration for the same woman, the supreme.
I had a lot of projects in mind for this year and I'm already working on them. I'm looking forward to sharing them with you. I've been thinking for awhile what kind of stuff should I bring to you and I think I figured out something.
I want to thank all the fans that have helped me through these years to make this site better but, especially I want to thank Weslley Francisco (from The Supremes Archive) who gave me a hand when I was working on the unofficial documentary 'Sparkling Diana: Ross' Life Through A Fan's Eyes', a film that have never seen the light of day. However, I'll be working again on it. The name and the format will be different. I'll tell you more soon.
You already know that all the social networks from the Diana Ross Fan Club are non-profit...I have never made money with it. That was never my intention and it never will. I always supported the running costs by myself, but I can't do it anymore. Today, the website (dianarossofficialfanclub.com) was closed because I can't afford a renewal of the domain. Sad news, I know, but I'll do my best to get it back. I'm going to find a way to pay for it and bring you back all the content.
This is NOT a goodbye. I just wanted to let you know what was happening with the site. I want to thank all of you once again. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
